Ren Ganting
Of rounded compressed form with gently tapering sides, set with branch-form spout and handle modeled in imitation of natural wood, the domed cover surmounted by a sculpted prunus branch knop applied with blossoms in relief. The buff-colored body is decorated in slip and incision with bamboo sprays, the reverse inscribed with a poetic text and signed. The base impressed with a circular seal reading “Yixing Taoci Shengchan Hezuoshe Chupin” (“Produced by the Yixing Ceramic Production Cooperative”), the interior with an impressed seal mark.

任淦庭款「梅竹紋」紫砂壺
壺呈扁圓式，短流曲把皆塑作樹枝形，蓋鈕作梅幹並貼塑梅花，富天然逸趣。壺身以淺色砂胎為地，刻劃竹葉紋飾，另一面刻詩文並署”乙末春月缶碩作」。底鈐「宜興陶瓷生產合作社出品」圓章。

任淦庭（1889 年 -1968 年），又名乾庭，字缶頭，號漱石、石溪、聾人、大聾、左民。“紫砂七老”之一。
