HARRISON REX: (1908-1990) English actor, Academy Award winner for Best Actor in 1964 for his role as Professor Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady. A good signed 8 x 10 photograph, the promotional 20th Century Fox Production image depicting Harrison seated with his legs crossed, in a full-length pose in costume in his role as King Mongkut in the American drama film Anna and the King of Siam (1946). The film was based on Margaret Landon?s novel Landon's novel which was later adapted by Rodgers and Hammerstein for their 1951 stage musical The King and I. Signed by Harrison in bold black ink with his name alone to a clear area at the base of the image. VG
