ATTRIBUTED TO GILLOWS, CIRCA 1830
The crest rails and seat rails with corresponding premier and contra partie brass marquetry, with brass segmented finials and collars to the turned legs, one chair with a printed paper label 'LADY BOUGH', some chairs with ink inscribed paper labels '72'
each 87cm high, 45cm wide, 46cm deep overall

With wear, marks, knocks and scratches commensurate with age and use
Some old chips, splits, and losses
Some lifting and warping to the veneer
A couple of the brass screws to the top of the finials are missing
Brass inlay is lifting in some places
Some marking to the fabric backs
Two chairs with damage to the cane seat, one will require recaning prior to use in a domestic setting
Historic sign of old worm
