Probably later repainted by John Fowler, fitted for electricity, with clip on fabric shades, with a paper label ‘This lamp was left to me in his will be the late John Fowler, C.B.E.’

With wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning
Losses and flaking to the paint on the bases
Some movement to one of the bases
