Description

Collection of three antique cast iron fluting and pleating irons used for pressing decorative ruffles, pleats, and trims on garments and linens. Includes crank-operated and handled examples with deeply ribbed surfaces, including one marked Hattie S.I.D.E. 1875. Wonderful examples of 19th-century laundry and textile tools with substantial original patina, oxidation, and wear consistent with age.
