Description
An Austro-Hungarian .900 silver cigarette case, circa 1872-1922, the rectangular case features a finely engine-turned ribbed design to the cover, framed by a geometric zig-zag border of inlaid blue and white champlevé enamel, opening to a polished interior. Stamped to the interior with the Austrian assay mark (2nd standard, .900 fineness) and a maker's mark, measuring 3 1/2 x 2 3/8 inches, weight 117.6 grams.
