Pocock Length 4.9cm Weight approx. 12.6g Footnotes: Alfred Lyndhurst Pocock (1881-1962) is credited as being the only Englishman ever to carve for Fabergé. His long and distinguished association with the House of Fabergé began while he was still a student at the Royal Academy Schools, when he was recommended to Queen Alexandra to undertake a royal commission. The wax models he produced were subsequently sent to Fabergé's workshops in Saint Petersburg. From this point onwards, Pocock's relationship with Fabergé flourished, and he continued to carve for the firm until its closure following the Russian Revolution.
