A Chantilly peach-shaped sugar bowl, cover and stand, circa 1735 Decorated in Kakiemon style with strawberries and pomegranates on leafy branches, the knop modelled as a leaf, stand: 14cm wide, the sugar bowl: 8cm high, stand with horn mark in red, collection stickers to both (3) Footnotes: Provenance: Alexander Collection, Christie's, 30 April 1999, lot 289 (part); With W W Warner, June 2015; John E Bodie OBE Collection See Geneviève Le Duc, Porcelaine tendre de Chantilly au XVIIIe siècle, 1996, p. 111 for a similarly-shaped cup and saucer, although the author categorises this as a 'leaf' shape.
