Two Meissen allegorical groups, late 19th century The first with two ladies and a putto by an obelisk hung with a cartouche, the first holding a sceptre and orb, the second, crowned, holding a cornucopia filled with jewels; the second with two standing figures and a seated putto, the first, winged, holding a torch and palm, the second holding a staff, flags, a cannon and a helmet on the base, the trefoil bases edged in gilding, 14.1cm and 15.3cm high, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue and blue, incised model numbers 2738 and 2739, the first with impressed '+', the second with painter's numeral 64 and impressed 51.
