Martine, Paris The case decorated in Rococo flowing forms and flowers with pierced and engraved sound frets to the sides and base. The 7 inch white enamel dial with calendar signed Martin, Paris with blued steel hands. The unusual movement with pin pallet escapement striking the hours and quarters on a pair of bells mounted behind via an external star count wheel, with skeletonised plates powered by a pair of going barrels, currently ticking and striking. 66cms (26ins) high.
