The 5 inch gilt brass dial set behind an ormolu decorated bezel with black Roman numerals and finely finished blued steel hands, the centre engraved with floral detailing signed above Barwise, London number 670. The finely finished movement with shaped plates following the outline of the case with a finely made pendulum and anchor escapement powered by a double chain fusee and striking the hours on a bell mounted to the back plate, currently ticking. 48cms (19ins) high.
