A late 19th century mahogany library clock timepiece Allport, Knightsbridge The sloped top over a moulded decoration with simple brass banding to the sides terminating in a decorated plinth and resting on four brass ball feet. The 4 inch silvered brass dial with silvered sight ring, black Roman numerals and blued steel hands signed in the centre Allport Knightsbridge. The single train fusee movement with anchor recoil escapement currently ticking. 26cms (10.5ins) high.
