American, 1st half-20th century. Includes an embroidered table scarf with swan, 31.5" square; together with a McKim nursery rhyme quilt with 20 designs, 58" by 54". This pattern was published as a children's quilt contest in 1922 in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Together with an embroidered bed ruffle, 88" by 61". Provenance: the collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
