A matched pair of parcel gilt fret carved mirrors The George II red walnut mirror: 1740-1750; the other of a later (probably late Victorian) date Each with a bevelled plate within a foliate moulded slip with re-entrant upper angles, encompassed by an ogee moulded surround, the shaped and scrolled pediment with a central pierced acanthus spray and addorsed scrolled roundel, with a similar apron centred by a recessed shell, 114cm high x 61.5cm wide.
