Stevens Visible Loading Repeater is a slide-action rimfire whose namesake feature let the shooter watch each cartridge feed toward the chamber. It wears a walnut stock and grooved forend, and the receiver shows a bright, worn finish with prominent side screws. A tubular magazine runs beneath the octagon barrel, and sighting is handled by an adjustable rear sight and drift-adjustable front sight, with a curved steel buttplate at the rear.
