A highly impressive and dramatic vintage Italian chandelier of large proportions and richly decorated in the Venetian manner.

The chandelier is constructed with a gilt-plated metal frame, formed with elegant scrolling arms and extensively hung with faceted crystal drops, graduated pendants and multiple strands of faceted crystal beads.
The central stem is particularly elaborate, incorporating moulded and faceted glass elements, while the upper section is surmounted by a decorative crystal and gilt-metal finial.

The combination of the warm gilt finish and profusion of clear faceted crystal gives the chandelier considerable sparkle and presence, particularly when illuminated.

The chandelier has a little movement or wobble to the metal frame, which should be noted when handling and installing.
The crystal is attractively arranged throughout the frame and the chandelier presents extremely well.
