About the artist
These artworks are clearly influenced by Pablo Picasso, following his exporation of fragmented form and multiple perspectives, and his contribution to Cubism. Under the artist name 'Pablo Picasso, After,' we bring together a collection of works inspired by or in the style of Pablo Picasso.
The inspiration comes from the works of Pablo Picasso (1881–1973), who was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and theatre designer whose pioneering work in Cubism transformed twentieth-century visual language. Co-founding the movement with Georges Braque, he explored fragmented form and multiple perspectives across diverse media. Drawing upon classical training and African and Iberian sculpture, his prolific seven-decade career produced thousands of works that merged formal invention with political and humanistic content, establishing him as a defining force in modern art.
