Richly carved throughout with scrolling foliate and rocaille ornament, the frames retain a warm gilt finish and are upholstered in a floral patterned fabric.
The shaped backs, serpentine rails, scrolling arms and cabriole legs reflect the enduring influence of the French Rococo tradition, interpreted through the more expressive decorative character often associated with Italian furniture of the period.

Well scaled and highly decorative, the chairs make attractive occasional seating and would suit both traditional and eclectic interiors.
