Title: 1991 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur II Mason’s Black
Description: 1991 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur II – Mason’s Black
Rolls-Royce Silver Spur II finished in Mason’s Black with gold hand-painted coachlines and grey leather interior.
Right-hand drive, with a 6,750cc petrol engine and automatic transmission.
Acquired in January 2015, the car had two owners before then.
The car was used as a daily driver until being taken off the road last year.
It has since been SORN and unused other than starting and running the engine every few weeks.
The engine starts and runs, however the car is currently not driving and appears to have developed a transmission, fluid-related or wiring issue.
It requires some restoration before returning properly to the road.
Additional known issues include rear electric window motors requiring replacement and a boot catch requiring attention.
There is no technical mechanical expertise to offer, and the information has been provided by the gentleman who looks after the car.
The shape of the car has a good presence.
There are, however, areas requiring attention including paint deterioration, some bubbling around sections of the wheel arches, paint loss around the boot lock and a dent to the nearside front wing.
The interior retains its original light grey leather, veneers and thick-pile black sheepskin rugs.
The leather is generally still presentable for the age with some wear and markings.
It could benefit from recolouring/freshening in places, though there are no major rips or tears.
Since standing, some of the veneers have lifted, particularly to the doors, as photographed.
The odometer shows 221,071 miles.
This has been a much-loved Rolls-Royce for many years and was a very reliable car in regular use.
What always stood out with the car was how comfortable, smooth and usable it felt.
A very pleasing and comfortable car to use daily.
It is now offered as a restoration project after a period off the road and is sold as seen.
The photographs and video have been provided to show the car and its condition as comprehensively as possible.
Further images or videos of particular areas can be provided on request.
