Description

1930s Marx Buck Rogers Rocket Ship Prototype. This wonderful Marx Prototype is an example of Stage One model from the Marx R&D Department. Typical crude construction to test for functionality before moving into the next stages of production. The Rocket is closely modeled after the classic Buck Rogers Rocket Ship from the cartoons. Heavy metal construction with the windup mech used in the Marx Tanks. Has wooden piece on front and opening hatch. The windup functions but toy does not operated properly. A very wonderful and unique Marx Prototype. Lots of Provenance can be found online about this rare toy. A true Museum Quality piece. 11"
