Marklin Oversize Sample Steam Plant. This true Marklin masterpiece is said to be made as a working sample possibly for the show room or trade shows. One of only 2 known and the only one we know of in North America. This wonderful Steam Plant measures 47"x 34 1/2"x 34 1/2". By far the largest and most impressive Steam Plant ever made by Marklin. Built in two sections with first having Horizontal Steam Boiler, Pressure Gauges, and Vertical Stack. The second section houses Flywheel, Pulleys, and Accessories. Base has some addition holes to add more pieces or adjust the present accessories. Both platforms show some possible paint touchup that could be factory or period. Has red pin-strips.
