Native American floor-standing log drum constructed from a single hollowed wood shell with a honey-toned finish. The double-headed instrument features natural rawhide membranes secured to the body with zig-zag rawhide lacing. The wooden shell exhibits prominent natural characteristics, including dark mineral streaks, knots, and a vertical fissure. A braided rawhide handle is attached to the upper rim of the shell. There are no maker marks, signatures, or labels visible on the instrument.
