Assortment of four vintage Japanese printed materials including local history, music memorabilia, and military commemorative pamphlets. The collection includes a 1927 local government pamphlet titled Village Policies of Hirose Village from Hirose Village, Higashitagawa District, Yamagata Prefecture. An illustrated booklet features a woodblock-style cover design of a bird and bamboo with the name Usami printed at the lower edge and remnants of cord binding. A mid-20th century issue of Sunday Mainichi magazine features a cover portrait of conductor Herbert von Karajan with text noting his visit to Japan after eight years. The group is completed by a commemorative pamphlet titled War God Commander Hirose regarding Commander Takeo Hirose, featuring an interior portrait of Admiral Togo Heihachiro and a reproduction titled THE AUTOGRAPHY OF VICE-ADMIRAL TOGO. I
