The piece is finished in a two-tone glaze application, with a thick mottled reddish-brown iron-rich glaze showing dark speckling over a speckled buff-colored base glaze. The light base glaze is visible at the shoulder and neck, and also covers the interior. The vase sits on a slightly recessed unglazed foot. Signed on base.
