by Wright & Davies (William Thomas Wright & Frederick Davies), London 1877, of plain rectangular form with hinged cover, additionally stamped Thornhill, 144 Bond St., London. 12.5cm by 7.5cm by 2.7cm, 6.4 troy ounces

Good condition overall, bearing inscription to lid with erasure - apparently dated 1882. Minor surface scratches and wear throughout some minor dents. The hinge good, cover sitting near flat, hallmarks crisp.
