Highly collectible Smith & Wesson Victory Model revolver chambered in .38 Special, serial number V20235, showing the honest character of an issued and carried military sidearm. This early five-screw example features a 4-inch barrel with a bright bore and sharp rifling, large round ejector knob, diamond stocks, long-action lockwork, distinctive whale-tail hammer, and intact lanyard loop. The parkerized finish shows expected high-point loss from holster carry and service use while retaining a strong overall period presentation. A leather holster with thumb snap accompanies the revolver, further complementing its military-style configuration. The action times and locks in spec.

The Smith & Wesson Victory Model emerged from the companys wartime production of Military & Police-pattern revolvers and became closely associated with Allied military and security service during World War II. The V serial prefix identifies the wartime Victory series, while early features such as the long-action mechanism, five-screw frame, diamond stocks, and large ejector knob add considerable collector interest. Examples displaying authentic service wear and retaining their lanyard loop and period-style holster offer an especially evocative representation of Smith & Wessons wartime revolver production.
