Outstanding 1977 Smith & Wesson Model 18-3 K22 Combat Masterpiece revolver chambered in .22 LR, serial number 13K0543, and presented in excellent condition for its age. This extremely desirable example features a 4-inch pinned barrel with a bright bore and sharp rifling, a recessed cylinder, adjustable target rear sight, and blacked-out target front sight. The blued finish remains exceptionally attractive, showing only a light cylinder turn ring, slight bluing loss on the ejector rod, and minor handling wear consistent with age. The color case-hardened hammer and trigger retain excellent visual contrast against the deep blue finish. Of particular collector importance, the revolver is completely numbers matching, including its matching Magna stocks. It is accompanied by the great condition original box, manual, and cleaning rod, creating a relatively complete and collector-focused package.

The Model 18, historically known as the K-22 Combat Masterpiece, was Smith & Wessons 4-inch .22 LR companion to its centerfire K-frame service revolvers. The shorter barrel and adjustable sights gave the Model 18 a balance suited to training, field use, and precision shooting while retaining the refined fit and finish associated with Smith & Wessons classic postwar revolvers. The 18-3 configuration is especially appealing to collectors for its traditional pinned-barrel and recessed-cylinder construction, and a 1977 example retaining matching Magna stocks, original accessories, and excellent finish represents a particularly desirable specimen from the classic era of Smith & Wesson production.
