Highly desirable West German SIG Sauer P226 semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, serial number U381585, and presented in excellent used condition with only light signs of use consistent with age. This classic service pistol features a 4.5-inch barrel with a bright bore and sharp, well-defined rifling, a parkerized slide, and an anodized aluminum frame. One magazine is included. Its clean condition and West German manufacture give this example particular appeal to collectors of early SIG Sauer service pistols.

The P226 was developed as a full-size military and law-enforcement service pistol and became one of SIG Sauers most respected double-action designs. West German-produced examples hold special collector interest because they represent an earlier period of SIG Sauer manufacture before later production shifts and design changes. Their combination of traditional alloy-frame construction, robust slide design, and longstanding service reputation has made these pistols increasingly sought after by enthusiasts of classic European duty handguns.
