Handsome F.lli Pietta Model 1851 percussion revolver chambered in .44 black powder, serial number P126159, and presented in great used condition with minimal signs of wear or use. This attractive reproduction features an 8-inch barrel with a bright bore and defined rifling, a color case-hardened frame, loading lever, and hammer, along with a brass grip frame, trigger guard, and front sight. The cylinder displays the traditional naval battle scene, while the walnut grips complement the revolvers classic appearance. The frame is relieved for attachment of a compatible shoulder stock, adding another desirable period-inspired feature. Only a very minimal cylinder turn ring is present, and the original paperwork is included.

Piettas 1851-pattern revolvers recreate one of the most recognizable percussion handgun designs of the mid-19th century. The original Colt 1851 Navy was traditionally chambered in .36 caliber, while modern reproduction variants such as this example have also been offered in the larger .44-caliber configuration. Features including the open-top frame, loading lever, naval-scene cylinder, brass appointments, and stock provisions preserve the distinctive appearance and handling characteristics associated with the historic design, making this a particularly attractive example for collectors and black-powder enthusiasts.
