Romanian Cugir WASR-10/63 AKM 7.62x39 CAI Import w/ Bayonet

This Romanian Cugir WASR-10/63 is chambered in 7.62x39 and is presented in excellent overall condition. The rifle is CAI imported and features a mix of components, with the trunnion bearing a 1972 date. Other components exhibit mismatched serial numbers, reflecting the varied service history often encountered with Romanian military-pattern rifles. Included with the rifle is a bayonet featuring a distinctive Bakelite grip.

The WASR-10/63 is a civilian-market configuration derived from Romanian military AKM-pattern rifles and has become a familiar example of Eastern European Kalashnikov-pattern production. Its Romanian Cugir manufacture, dated 1972 trunnion, mismatched components, and included Bakelite-grip bayonet make this an appealing example for collectors of Romanian military firearms and Cold War-era AK-pattern rifles.
