Attractive Navy Arms Model 1851 percussion revolver chambered in .44 black powder, serial number 61, and presented in honest used condition with expected signs of age and use. This distinctive example features a 7-inch round-profile barrel with a bright bore and sharp rifling, blued barrel, plain unengraved cylinder, and brass frame, trigger guard, and grip frame. Additional period-style details include a brass front sight and color case-hardened loading rod and hammer. The revolver shows only minimal bluing loss and a light cylinder turn ring, retaining a strong overall presentation.

Navy Arms played an important role in the American market for reproduction black-powder firearms, offering modern recreations of classic 19th-century percussion designs to collectors, reenactors, and recreational shooters. This Model 1851-pattern revolver combines traditional cap-and-ball operation with a brass-frame configuration, plain cylinder, and round barrel profile, giving it a distinctive appearance compared with more conventional octagonal-barrel Navy-pattern reproductions. Its very low serial number and well-preserved condition add further collector interest.
