Cohn (shelf label and bookplate); William Hartmann Woodin (bookplate); Robert Norton Ganz (bookplate). CRUIKSHANK'S OWN SET OF THE VERY RARE INDIA PROOFS. It later entered the legendary collection of Albert M. Cohn, the preeminent Cruikshank bibliographer and author of the definitive 1924 catalogue raisonné, bearing his bookplate and shelf label. The volume also carries the bookplates of two other distinguished collectors: William Hartmann Woodin, the prominent American industrialist and U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, and noted book collector Robert Norton Ganz. ''India proofs' seem to have been unknown to both [Douglas and Reid] ... copies are of rarity' (Cohn 150 note).
