This is a Royal Doulton plate that is a thicker ceramic plate in a very colorful design. I have not been able to identify this pattern. The plate is white with a smooth rim and black trim . It has a design in yellow, red, blue and green. The plate is numbered D4863, but I do not find a pattern by that number. I have another similar, but compeltely different plate with the same number on the back. The backstamp is dated 1923 to 1927.

The plate measures 10 1/8 inches across.

There are no chips, cracks, or other damage and no wear or color loss. I have three similar plates in different designs.
