Ray Bradbury (1920-2012) was an American author whose imaginative fiction helped define twentieth-century science fiction and fantasy literature. He is best known for Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, and Something Wicked This Way Comes, as well as hundreds of short stories spanning science fiction, fantasy, horror, and literary fiction. Driving Blind collects a group of Bradbury's later short fiction and reflects the themes of memory, nostalgia, wonder, technology, and the uncanny that recur throughout his work.
