Ron Ferdinand autographed original 8.5 x 11" color marker sketch depicting Dennis Mitchell arriving home with a stray dog and asking, "He followed me home. Can we keep 'im?" Ferdinand has inscribed the upper margin, "All the BEST! Ron Ferdinand." The artwork is rendered in multiple colors and includes a © Hank Ketcham Enterprises notation along the right edge.

Ron Ferdinand (1951-) is an American cartoonist best known for his decades-long work on Hank Ketcham's Dennis the Menace. Born in New York City, Ferdinand studied at the School of Visual Arts and the Art Students League before joining the Dennis the Menace creative team in the early 1980s. He initially worked on Dennis comic books and in 1982 began drawing the long-running Sunday page, a role he has continued for decades. His work has helped carry forward the visual style and characters created by Hank Ketcham for one of America's most enduring syndicated comic strips.
