Elissa Knight (1975-) is an American voice actress and longtime Pixar employee best known as the voice of EVE, the advanced probe robot and co-lead of Pixar's WALL-E. Knight originally recorded EVE's dialogue as a temporary scratch track, but director Andrew Stanton and sound designer Ben Burtt were impressed with her performance and retained her voice for the finished film, with Burtt electronically processing the recordings to create EVE's distinctive sound. Knight also voiced Tia in Pixar's Cars and has contributed voices and production work to a number of other Pixar projects. WALL-E won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and has become one of Pixar's most celebrated films.
