Fritz Mueller autographed First Day Cover commemorating the Apollo 11 Moon landing, postmarked September 9, 1969, in Washington, D.C., with an additional July 20, 1969, Moon Landing cancellation. Mueller signed prominently in blue ink across the lower right portion of the cover.

Fritz Mueller was a German-born rocket engineer associated with the early development of guided missile and space technology. After World War II, he became part of the group of German specialists who continued their work in the United States and contributed to the development of American missile and space programs that ultimately supported the Apollo era.
