Jean-Loup Chrétien and Patrick Baudry autographed 5 x 7-inch color photograph showing the two pioneering French space travelers together in pressure suits during training. Each has signed the photograph in ink near his image.

Jean-Loup Chrétien (1938-2024) became the first French citizen and the first Western European to travel into space when he flew aboard Soyuz T-6 in 1982 to the Salyut 7 space station. He later returned to space aboard Soyuz TM-7 and also flew on the Space Shuttle Atlantis.

Patrick Baudry (b. 1946) became the second French citizen to travel into space when he flew aboard Space Shuttle Discovery on STS-51-G in 1985. A French Air Force test pilot and astronaut, Baudry was among the earliest European participants in the U.S. Space Shuttle program.
