Glen Campbell (1936-2017) was an American singer, guitarist, actor, and television host whose career spanned more than five decades. He became one of country music's most successful crossover artists with hits including "Gentle on My Mind," "Wichita Lineman," "Galveston," and "Rhinestone Cowboy." Campbell also hosted The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour and appeared in films including True Grit alongside John Wayne. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
