Ronald E. Rosser autographed First Day Cover commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, postmarked Washington, D.C., on March 11, 1974. The ArtCraft cacheted cover bears a block of four 10-cent VFW commemorative stamps and is signed in black ink by Rosser across the lower center.

Ronald Eugene Rosser (1929-2020) was a United States Army soldier and Medal of Honor recipient for his actions during the Korean War. On January 12, 1952, while serving with Heavy Mortar Company, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, Rosser repeatedly charged enemy positions under heavy fire while attempting to reach wounded comrades. He continued the attack despite intense opposition and later helped recover wounded soldiers. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions in combat.
