Pair of autographed 8 x 10-inch photographs relating to the legendary B-17 Flying Fortress Memphis Belle and its enduring legacy. The first is an inscribed portrait signed by actor Billy Zane, who portrayed Lt. Val Kozlowski in the 1990 film Memphis Belle. The second is a cast and reunion photograph signed by original Memphis Belle crew member Eugene Adkins, the aircraft's radio operator, and by Colonel Robert K. Morgan, the pilot of the historic bomber. Adkins has additionally inscribed the photograph, "T/Sgt Eugene Adkins, 1st A/C Radio Operator, 324th Bomb Sqdn."

Fine condition overall aside for a slight bend to the very tip of the lower left corner of the Billy Zane photograph.

The Memphis Belle became one of the most celebrated aircraft of World War II after completing 25 combat missions over Europe, making it one of the first U.S. Army Air Forces B-17 bombers to finish a full combat tour with its crew intact. Pilot Robert K. Morgan and his crew became national heroes, while the aircraft's story inspired documentaries, books, and the 1990 feature film Memphis Belle. This pair uniquely combines signatures from one of the original crew members and the aircraft's commander with an autograph from an actor who helped bring their story to a new generation.
