George Sutherland autographed official Supreme Court of the United States card measuring approximately 4.25 x 3.25 inches. Sutherland has signed boldly in black ink across the center beneath the printed Supreme Court heading.

George Sutherland (1862-1942) served as an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court from 1922 to 1938. Appointed by President Warren G. Harding, Sutherland became a leading conservative voice on the Court and was one of the justices known collectively as the "Four Horsemen," who frequently opposed New Deal legislation during the 1930s. Before joining the Court, he represented Utah in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.
