Jacklyn Harold Lucas autographed commemorative cover honoring the 100th Anniversary of Florida Statehood, 1845-1945. The cover is signed prominently in black ink by Lucas, who added "Medal of Honor," "Iwo Jima 2/20/45," "Co C, 1st Bn 26th Marine Reg.," and "5th Marine Div.," documenting his World War II service and Medal of Honor action.

Jacklyn Harold Lucas (1928-2008) was a United States Marine and Medal of Honor recipient for his actions during the Battle of Iwo Jima. On February 20, 1945, while serving with Company C, 1st Battalion, 26th Marines, 5th Marine Division, Lucas threw himself over two enemy grenades to protect nearby Marines, absorbing the blasts and surviving severe wounds. He was 17 years old at the time and became the youngest Marine to receive the Medal of Honor during World War II.
