Thomas Farrell autographed card, neatly signed in black ink and affixed to a collector’s custom-printed display card featuring his portrait and printed identification as “General Thomas Farrell, Deputy Commanding General and Chief of Field Operations, Manhattan Project.”
Fine condition.
General Thomas Farrell (1891–1967) was a U.S. Army officer who played a crucial role in the Manhattan Project as Deputy Commander under General Leslie Groves. He was responsible for overseeing the field operations of the atomic bomb program, including the Trinity Test and postwar assessments in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
