Distilled and bottled at Dalmore Distillery, Alness, Ross-Shire. Footnotes: Released in 2019, this 40 Year Old expression showcases The Dalmore's distinctive approach to extended maturation and cask finishing. The whisky was initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks before being transferred to aged oloroso sherry casks and subsequently finished in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels. Produced in strictly limited quantities, the Dalmore 40 Year Old represents one of the distillery's most prestigious age-statement releases, combining four decades of maturation with the multi-cask character that has become synonymous with The Dalmore's older expressions.
