E.H. Taylor Warehouse C Tornado Surviving 100 Proof (1x 75cl) Region: Kentucky, Straight Bourbon Whiskey Fill Level: into neck Capsule: good condition Label: good labelling Packaging: in original carton Alcohol content: 50% ABV/ 100 proof Notes: 2011 release. Bottled in Bond. Bottle code: B1134816:30N. Distilled, aged and bottled by Old Fashioned Copper Distillery Frankfort, Kentucky. Footnotes: In April 2006, a severe storm damaged Buffalo Trace Distillery's historic Warehouse C, tearing away sections of the roof and walls and leaving a number of ageing bourbon barrels exposed to the Kentucky elements while repairs were undertaken. Warehouse C itself was built by Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. in 1885. Years later, 93 barrels from the affected upper floors were selected to create the Warehouse C Tornado Surviving release. Bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), this remarkable bourbon captures a unique event in the history of Buffalo Trace and has become one of the most distinctive and sought-after releases within the E.H. Taylor collection. For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
