Caroni Trinidad Rum 34 Year Old , 1974 (1x 70cl) Fill Level: filled to 70cl Capsule: good condition Label: good labelling Packaging: in original carton Alcohol content: 66.1% ABV Notes: Distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2008. Footnotes: Distilled in Trinidad in 1974 and matured for 34 years, this historic Caroni was bottled by Velier in 2008 at full proof of 66.1% ABV. Drawn from a parcel of seven casks and limited to approximately 2,000 bottles, it is the oldest vintage represented among Velier's celebrated Caroni releases. Caroni ceased production in the early 2000s, leaving behind finite stocks that have developed a significant following among rum collectors. Combining exceptional age, tropical maturation and the legacy of one of Trinidad's lost distilleries, the 1974 has become one of the most notable bottlings in the Velier Caroni series.
