Matured in hogshead. Distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2006. Footnotes: Distilled in 1992, this rare single-cask Japanese whisky was released as part of Suntory's Owner's Cask programme, through which individual casks from the company's reserves were selected and bottled for private clients and organisations. This particular bottling was selected to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Matsui and represents a highly individual expression of Suntory whisky. Owner's Cask releases were produced in very limited quantities according to the yield of each individual cask, and have subsequently become sought after as distinctive examples of Suntory's single-cask whisky from an earlier era.
