Enmore Full Proof Old Demerara Rum, 1988 (1x 70cl) Fill Level: filled to 70cl Label: good labelling Alcohol content: 51.9% ABV Notes: Distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2008. Footnotes: Distilled at Enmore in Guyana in 1988, this Full Proof Old Demerara Rum was bottled by Velier in 2008 after 20 years of maturation. Drawn from just two casks and bottled at 51.9% ABV, the release was limited to only 419 bottles. Produced using the historic wooden Versailles pot still and carrying the MEA marque, the 1988 represents an increasingly scarce example of Demerara rum from the now-closed Enmore estate. Its combination of historic distillation, limited outturn and association with Velier's celebrated early Demerara releases has made it particularly sought after by collectors.
