Cal. 54. S# 16250. Mfg. 1863-1865. Standard configuration w/ 21" bbl. & walnut buttstock. CONDITION: barrel has traces of blue with balance brown patina showing scattered light marks. Action primarily gray/brown patina with traces of blue on breech block & fair amount of blue on lever assembly & lower tang. Lightly sanded & retinished wood has shrink fit at action along with dings & marks. Replacement modern nipple. Shiny bore with sharp rifling & light pitting. Appears mechanically fine. PROVENANCE: From the Harry A. Baldwin Estate Collection. (01-29762/MD). ANTIQUE. $1,200-1,800.
